Big 4 Treasure Island Holiday Park, Gold Coast

Jen has recently returned from a stay at the Big 4 Treasure Island Holiday Park in Biggera Waters with her 2 year old daughter Abbie. Here is what Jen thought:

We have just come home from a 7 night stay at Treasure Island Holiday Park (Big 4) in Biggera Waters, Queensland with our 2 year old daughter Abbie.

We camped with our own tent; Abbie’s stay was included in the rate. The park had excellent facilities for families with young children; They had 2 pool areas. The one closest to us was heated with a slippery slide and there was also a fantastic toddler pool attached to it. There was a toddler only playground with size appropriate swings & slippery slides and it was also fully fenced with child proof gates.

Abbie usually has a mid morning or early afternoon sleep but refused to do either on holidays. She was quite settled but she was aware of the pool and toddler play area and continued to tell us she wanted to play.

As we were camping we didn’t experience their different styles of accommodation but the facilities they had on offer for those of us camping were excellent. They had a separate parent’s room with full bathroom facilities. Included was a built in baby bath as well as a built in half size bath with shower. It was great not having to worry about showering your little one in a standard cubicle style shower.

There was also a jumping pillow which kept the little ones entertained for hours.

I would highly recommend this park. It was extremely clean and very well maintained with great facilities for children of all ages and the staff were always very friendly.
